Abstract

Despite numerous studies on graduate tracer studies, limited research has been conducted on the specific context of Ilocos Sur Polytehnic State College, Cervantes Campus. This study investigated the profile of the alumni; levels of satisfaction on the academic environment and study condition and higher education delivery system; performance in the licensure examinations; employment information; and significant relationship between and among employment rate, academic environment and study conditions, and higher education delivery system along curriculum, grading system, teaching-learning process and facilities. The descriptive-survey research design was employed. Respondents were the BEED and BSED graduates of Ilocos Sur Polytechnic State College-Cervantes Campus from 2019-2022. The results highlight that a significant majority of graduates came from public high schools, with personal decisions and affordability being key influences in choosing ISPSC. Graduates expressed high satisfaction with the curriculum, grading system, and teaching-learning process, which contributed to their high licensure examination passing rates. The employment data reveals that 63% of graduates are currently employed, although challenges persist with job alignment and underemployment. Additionally, the study identifies significant relationships between aspects of the academic environment and employment outcomes, underscoring the importance of a supportive and resource-rich academic experience in improving employability. Recommendations include investing in faculty development, enhancing student support services, improving facilities, and strengthening career guidance programs to further enhance student success and contribute to the campus' reputation as a quality institution.
